Built on family land, the property is run by Duncan and Gaewyn Evans, descendants of Fletcher Christian and Reverend Henry Fulton. Duncan Evans is a Norfolk Islander and is a seventh-generation descendant from Fletcher Christian, the leader of the Mutiny on the Bounty. Gaewyn Evans is a descendant of the Reverend Henry Fulton, an Irish Political Prisoner. This unique heritage connection makes Islander Lodge not just a place to stay, but a living link to Norfolk’s past.

Perched atop a grassy hill overlooking the Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area and the Pacific Ocean beyond, each one-bedroom apartment has everything you need to feel right at home. Designed for comfort and convenience, they offer a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave and refrigerator, so you can prepare meals using fresh island produce at your leisure. There’s even a barbecue so you can enjoy outdoor dining on the private patio with ocean views.
Sleeping only two people, Islander Lodge apartments are the ideal Norfolk Island accommodation option for couples or friends travelling together. The separate bedroom has a king bed that can be split into two single beds, and the ensuite bathroom features a shower, basin, washing machine and bathroom amenities.
