Upon arrival, transfers to accommodation will be provided, and rental vehicles will be available for collection at the property. Later this afternoon, make your way to Governor’s Lodge for a unique cultural experience. Discover the distinctive Norfolk Island language, brought by the Pitcairn Islanders in 1856 and still spoken by some locals today. Enjoy a complimentary beer or wine as you learn about the evolution of this fascinating language and the rich history of the Norfolk Island people. You’ll be saying watawieh (hello) in no time! After the language session, enjoy a cocktail (own expense) at Bailey’s Restaurant before sitting down to a delicious dinner at Governor’s Lodge.

This morning Sydney guests will spend the morning on the Island Life Tour, gaining insight into modern island life. Your guide will share local knowledge on ethnic groups, languages spoken, and the unique Norfolk Island indigenous language. Enjoy lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge. In the evening, make your way to the Homestead Restaurant for a sumptuous dinner in a charming island home that has been in the owner's family for over 40 years.
