Brisbane guests this morning enjoy the Island Life Tour. Spend the morning touring Norfolk Island, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island life. Your guide will share the latest information on the island's ethnic groups, nationalities and languages spoken, including the Norfolk Island indigenous language. The tour will conclude with lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant at Governor’s Lodge Hotel. Dinner tonight is own arrangements.

Sydney guests this morning set off on the Island Life Tour and again conclude with lunch at the Boatshed Restaurant.

Today is at leisure for Brisbane guests. Ask our consultant about any additional tours you may like to add to your itinerary.

A Norfolk Fish Fry is a must-do on any trip and tonight guests will make their way to  Orn dar Cliff to watch the sun set and enjoy a feast of local dishes, salads, and homemade coconut bread, all topped off with mouth-watering fried fish that will leave you wanting more. After your feast, sit back and relax as the Baunti Byuutis dancing group takes the stage to entertain you with their captivating local performances. Wine and beer are available for purchase, or you can bring your own drinks to enjoy with the delicious food and entertainment. Tonight, you’ll meet your Norfolk host for the week.  Your host will join you for dinner during this week and be on hand to answer questions you may have from your time on the island or provide some further insight into life on Norfolk.

Friday 09 October 2026

This morning guests will join their guide and learn about the Norfolk native flora.  This is a 5-hour tour where guests will be taken to different areas of the Island, to see the native flora in its natural location. Spots visited will include the Summit Track from Mt Pitt to Mt Bates, Palm Glen Reserve, The Tree Fern Valley Circuit at the Botanical Gardens followed by a 2-course picnic lunch on a private property with stunning coastal views. There is some walking on nature trails and some flights of stairs in the Botanical Gardens however nothing too strenuous. Due to the outdoor nature of this tour, please be advised that locations visited maybe subject to change.

The afternoon is at leisure, and you won’t run out of things to do.  You might like to spend some more time leisurely wandering around the Botanic Gardens or perhaps take a drive out to 100 Acres Reserve to have a walk out to the cliff edge and see where the seabirds nest. If you haven’t checked out the shops in Burnt Pine, then make sure you do that.

Tonight make your way to Governor’s Lodge Hotel for a 2-course dinner. Your Norfolk host will join you all for dinner and will be keen to hear how your week is going.

Saturday 10 October 2026

The morning is at leisure today. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at one of Norfolk’s great cafes or use your rental vehicle to set out and explore. How about a swim? Splash in the crystal-clear waters of Emily Bay or don a snorkel and seek out some of the amazing marine life that lives in the bay. Don’t want to get wet? What about visiting one of our fabulous museums or take a stroll through the picturesque cemetery to look at the resting place of some of Norfolk’s convicts?

This afternoon guests will have a Greenfingers half-day tour to explore some of the island's most enchanting gardens. Stroll through lush gardens that boast magnificent views, including the island's only maze, and a private garden. Learn how past settlements have influenced the gardens that exist today, and  as you take in the scenery, you'll also enjoy a lovely afternoon tea at a picturesque location. Dinner tonight is own arrangements.

The morning is at leisure today.  Why not explore Norfolk’s Sunday markets?  The market features a variety of local crafts, art, souvenirs, and produce, along with live music and fresh coffee - and runs rain, hail, or shine. This afternoon you’ll take a private tour to visit some of Norfolk’s best gardens. Members of the Norfolk Island Garden Club kindly invite us to visit 3 of their members’ gardens and you’ll love this glimpse of gardens usually hidden behind the hedges and only glimpsed from a bus. During the afternoon we’ll also stop for delicious afternoon tea at a scenic location. Dinner tonight is own arrangements.

Monday 12 October 2026

Today is Show Day. The Royal Agriculture and Horticultural Show is a highlight on the Norfolk calendar. The Show was first held in 1860 and has continued since. Norfolk’s community happily enters into the competitions  and there are a number of sections  with competitions for cooking, flowers, gardens and artwork as well as categories for cattle and equestrian events.   Make your way to the Show from around lunchtime today and you’ll find the area humming, and lots to see. The rest of the day is at leisure.

This evening make your way to Bounty Bar and Grill for a Farewell Dinner with your Norfolk host. Set in a beautifully restored 1900s building on Ferny Lane in Burnt Pine, Bounty Bar & Grill blends historic character with leafy surrounds to create a relaxed and welcoming dining experience.

Whilst Sydney guests have a final day at leisure today our Brisbane guests will be transferred to Norfolk Island Airport for the journey home.

Sadly, the week has come to an end. Sydney guests will be transferred to Norfolk Island Airport today as it’s time to say goodbye to Norfolk.

This event package offers the perfect balance of independent and guided experiences. Your time on Norfolk is yours to enjoy independently with the added benefit of several tours and functions included for you to enjoy with like-minded travellers who are on the Island for the same event. There is no tour host for this event. A rental vehicle is included to give you the flexibility to reach meeting points for each activity at the designated times.

Prices are a guide only, subject to change and availability, and are in Australian Dollars. Prices are correct as of 19 November 2025. Please check all prices, availability, fees, conditions and information with your travel agent before booking.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. Airfare may be required at time of booking to commit to Qantas booking terms and conditions.

Final Payment: Final payment is due: 26 June 2026. Payment can be made by personal or bank cheques or by direct deposit into our Commonwealth Bank account. If you would prefer to pay by Visa or Mastercard, please add 1.5% to the total cost of your holiday package.

Changes & Amendments: Changes can be made up to 48 hours (notification business days only) prior to departure at a change fee of $200 per person plus any applicable upgrade fees, subject to availability.

Cancellation: Airfare is subject to availability and non-refundable after issue. Accommodation cancellation penalties apply within 90 days prior to travel. Within 60 days of travel, up to 100% cancellation fees may apply.

We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect you against some unforeseen cancellations.
