Self-drive to Pitcairn Settlers Village, located off Queen Elizabeth Drive behind the Queen Victoria Gardens, Hilli Restaurant and Cyclorama. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your commencement time as listed above.
Days of operation: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday both mornings and afternoons
Times: Morning 9:30am-12 noon, Afternoon 1:30pm-4pm
Tour Itinerary:
You’ll experience the history of the Pitcairn Island Settlers. Your guide will take you through the gracious original Bailey homestead and gardens before a stroll through the barn, dairy and out-buildings. Wander the Museum filled with items of nostalgic and historic interest including the oldest working forge in the Pacific. After that there’s an Ex New Zealand Army hut, with war-time memorabilia. And finally, there’s an exclusive film of Norfolk Island interest and complimentary refreshments.
