Somerset Apartments are perfectly situated between Neds Beach and the Lagoon, on a level area of the Island, allowing easy walking and biking to nearby shops, restaurants and the Visitor Centre. The 25 self-contained units are nestled in subtropical palm groves alive with splashes of colour from Hawaiian hibiscus and fragrant frangipani flowers. Somerset Apartments offers accommodation options to suit all visitors to Lord Howe Island. Choose from a range of Studio, One bedroom or Family Units. Each unit has separate bedroom and living areas giving space and privacy, an ensuite bathroom and a covered verandah overlooking the palm forest and gardens. The grounds are well planned, with tracks meandering through the palms and gardens, giving a sense of seclusion and tropical mystery.

Separate bathroom with shower. Please note: some of these rooms have a single bed also, please request when booking. Bedding is 1 Double Bed and 1 Single Bed. The Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 1 Child.

Superior One Bedroom Apartment: The Superior One Bedroom Apartment offers 2 separate living areas consisting of master bedroom with double bed and separate lounge room, small kitchenette with a two burner gas cooktop and table with chairs.  Separate bathroom with shower. Please note: some of these rooms have a single bed also, please request when booking. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed. The Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 1 Child.

Standard Two Bedroom Apartment: The Standard Two Bedroom Apartment is ideal for families of 2 adults and 3 children with a main bedroom with double bed
and a second bedroom with a single bed plus one set of bunk beds. There is only     
one bathroom. The kitchenette includes a two burner gas cooktop. Bedding is 1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed. The Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 3 Children.

Superior Three Bedroom Apartment: The Superior Three Bedroom Apartment is ideal for families or a group of friends featuring a main bedroom with a King Bed or two Single Beds, a second bedroom with the same bedding and a third bedroom with  one set of bunk beds. There is a main bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity and a second WC with toilet and hand basin. This apartment offers full kitchen facilities. Bedding is 2 King Bed and 1 Set of Bunk Beds or 4 Single Beds and 1 Set of Bunk Beds. The Maximum room capacity is 6 Adults or 2 Adults and 4 Children.
