Where do I start?

Simply pick up the phone or email the Spacifica team to get the ball rolling. A South Pacific specialist will be in contact within 48 hours (two business days) to provide personalised help choosing a destination and package.

Yes, it will be a real person – not an AI chatbot. And you can chat to that person on your channel of choice – live chat on the Spacifica website, email or phone.

Your consultant will ask you a few questions to help you determine the best option – such as what your budget is, what your holiday preferences are and where you have travelled previously (and what you liked or didn’t like about it). Why? Because knowing your needs and wants helps them determine your ideal holiday.

Package vs customised holiday

While Spacifica Travel has plenty of great value South Pacific packages ready to go, the team can also tailor a package however you like. Flexibility is key – you can swap accommodation, change flight dates, add car hire – whatever is needed to create your dream holiday.

Think of it like ordering off a holiday menu – you pick whatever you fancy and if there isn’t already a package to suit, the Spacifica team will create one for you based on your chosen dates, budget and ideal itinerary. The team can also provide recommendations on the “must do’s” in each destination, to ensure you’re having the best experience possible. Deposits, payments & due dates

When booking a holiday online, full payment is often required up front. And there are no guarantees that you’ll get what you’re paying for.

With Spacifica Travel, a $250pp non-refundable deposit is required within three days of confirming your booking. Some providers (e.g. for flights, travel insurance) may require an additional deposit, but otherwise the final balance is due 90 days prior to your departure date. And you can pay in installments via direct deposit or credit card.

Flights, transfers and extras

Payment for flights is due within three days of booking, and your consultant will provide everything you need for take-off.

That includes airport transfers, both to and from the airport on departure and arrival – giving you peace of mind that once you leave home, everything you need to get to where you’re going is taken care of. The Spacifica team ensure a seamless connection between flights and transfers – they provide their operators with your flight and accommodation information, so they have up to the minute information on any flight changes.

And should the unexpected happen, Spacifica will contact their providers to handle the logistics, so you’re not left in the lurch. The team only uses reliable professionals in every destination for touring and transport to ensure you have a stress-free experience.

Changes, cancellations and flexibility

Without a crystal ball, it’s hard to predict the unpredictable. And while experience goes a long way to ensuring a hitch-free holiday, some things are beyond the control of even the most dedicated travel agent.

In these situations, your Spacifica consultant will handle everything to get your holiday back on track. In the event of a booking cancellation, they will contact the provider on your behalf to achieve the best possible outcome.

When booking your holiday with Spacifica, you’ll be provided with an emergency contact who will be your straight line of two-way communication whenever you need it. You’ll be informed and guided every step of the way should the unexpected happen, and any updated documentation will be emailed to you directly.

  • Can I customise my package?

    The Spacifica team can tailor a package however you like to create your dream holiday.

  • Do I have to book flights with you?
    Not at all! We can book your accommodation, transportation, touring and meals without flights.

  • What if I want to book my own accommodation?
    Unfortunately, we can’t book flights only due to contractual agreements with our partners, so we must book a minimum of two nights’ accommodation to be able to access additional services such as flights, transfers and touring for you.

  • Can I pay for my booking in instalments?
    Absolutely! As long as the $250pp deposit and final balance are made before their due dates we can help you set a schedule to pay off your holiday over a period of time.

  • When do I receive my final travel documents?
    Your Spacifica Travel agent will send everything you need about two to four weeks prior to travel.

  • What happens if my flight is cancelled?
    If you’re at the airport and your flight is cancelled, the airline will usually provide you with an immediate alternative. However, always contact us so we can make sure your other travel arrangements are adjusted if needed.

  • What if I need to cancel my trip?
    It’s important to read the policies you were provided and contact us for advice on what fees will apply (if any). Then we can take any action you decide is best.

  • Do you offer travel insurance?
    Optional extras such as travel insurance are discussed at the time of the initial quote or booking.

  • Why are your packages sometimes more expensive than booking direct?
    There is more to a holiday package than the final price – value, terms and service are important. When you book a holiday package with us you receive added value and the choice of better flight times or more direct flight routes. We may also be able to provide different terms (e.g. refundable v non-refundable rates).
