Cool off after your history lesson by taking a dip in Samoa’s worst kept secret, the To Sua Ocean Trench. This natural wonder, featuring the azure blue water the region is famous for, is a not to be missed Samoan experience.

While in Apia, make sure to attend a Fia Fia night to learn all about traditional food and dance in a uniquely Samoan fashion. The capital of Samoa also boasts a vibrant nightlife and a buzzing restaurant scene.

Another unmissable Upolu experience is a trip to Manono Island, which is just a 20 minute boat ride away. With ancient relics and preserved natural beauty, along with no vehicles, dogs or tourist accommodation – this small island can be explored in less than two hours but will leave a lasting impression.
