Pacific Resort Rarotonga is a great all-round resort for families of all shapes and sizes. With a prime beachfront location right in the heart of Muri Beach, the resort has plenty of activities and water sports for the whole family to get involved in! They also run a complimentary Kids Club for children 6-12 Years, children under 6 are able to attend with the supervision of a parent or guardian. Pacific Resort is walking distance to Muri cafes, restaurants and the Night Markets, which gives families plenty of dining options. There are a variety of different room sizes and locations to choose from, which makes it a great option for multi-generational families & groups.

The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Lagoonarium is a great choice for families that love the water, the resort offers a unique night snorkelling tour in the calm lagoon as well as all the normal water sports and activities. The children can attend free Moko’s Kids Club for 4 – 11 years, Little Dolphin’s Mini Waterpark and there is also the option of a Teen Zone for 12 -16 year olds. The resort has a variety of rooms to choose from, from hotel rooms up to 2 bedroom apartments or 3 bedroom villas. The onsite ice-cream parlour is a hit on a hot day!

The Edgewater Resort & Spa is located on a long stretch of beach on the western (sunset) side of Rarotonga. The property has plenty to offer families, with daily activities, a tennis court, hire car facilities, pool, gift shop, laundry and a Kids Club all onsite. The Edgewater has a range of room types to choose from, starting with studio apartments and hotel rooms right up to large 3-bedroom villas. These villas are great for bigger families, groups or families with older children that want that extra space, but still want the amenities that come with a resort stay. The Kids Club has a really great blend of fun and educational activities and accepts children 4 – 12 years old. The resort pool is located overlooking the beach, so parents can enjoy a cocktail at sunset, while children play. An in-house “Island Night” dinner and show is run twice a week, so guests don’t have to venture too far to experience the local culture.

Properties with Self-Contained Facilities:

Nautilus Resort is a stunning property on the quiet end of Muri Beach, the resort has all the luxuries of a 4.5-Star beachfront resort with the convenience of also having 2 & 3 bedroom villas with full kitchen facilities. Each villa has a private plunge pool, outdoor area, separate bedrooms and a large living area which offers both privacy and space. The Nautilus has a Kids Concierge service for children 5 years and older, which ensures parents can have a little peace and quiet too! All the usual water sports are offered, a resort infinity pool and the resort restaurant and bar all overlook the beautiful lagoon.

Lagoon Breeze Villas are spread over 4 acres of land, this self-catering villa property is a great choice for families that want to be able to cook, but don’t want to miss out on the ‘resort’ feeling. The property has a large pool for guests to use, as well as having a beautiful beach & lagoon directly across the road. Guests can choose from Studio Rooms or 1 & 2 Bedroom Villas.

Moana Sands Beachfront Villas in one of three properties in the Moana Sands Group, each resort is unique and offers something slightly different! This property specialises in spacious self-contained villas, but also have a lovely beachfront location that gives you ‘that holiday feeling’ from the moment you arrive. There is a small supermarket, restaurants & a coffee shop all within walking distance, so families can balance eating in with dining out. A tropical breakfast starter pack is provided on arrival to get you started, which is a nice touch & guests also have access to kayaks and snorkelling gear like you would get at a resort. A great option for people chasing independence, but still looking for the security of booking a brand name product.
