    Known for being warm and sunny year round, the Cook Islands is generally drier from April to November and boasts a comfortable average temperature of around 26 degrees. During the warmer months from December to March the temperature and humidity rise, as does the chance of rainfall, but don't be deterred as the morning or afternoon showers are usually brief and refreshing. For those looking for warm days with less rain, April, May, September and October are the ideal months to visit.

    There are five living languages spoken in the Cook Islands, but the two official languages are Cook Islands Maori (colloquially known as Rarotongan) and English.
