The Coral Coast is a stretch of about 80kms, located in the South of Viti Levu, which is home to lots of large, sprawling all-inclusive resorts. This section of coast is a great destination for the perfect Fiji holiday due to its diversity – there are plenty of adventures for the kids as well as water sports and cultural tours to keep them busy. For the parents, many of the resorts have world-class day spas, amazing restaurants and beach-front bars.

Living up to its name, you’ll be able to view the vibrant coral reefs, lying dramatically beneath the shallow crystal clear waters. When not delighting in the stretch of bays and beaches, visitors can venture to the many destinations surrounding the area. For history lovers and island adventures – make a trip to nearby Beqa Island. Here you will be able to witness the fantastic Fijian Fire-Walking ceremony, that will leave the bravest of men in awe.

Another must is Kula Wild Adventure Park. Equally suited for the young and young at heart, trek through the Fiji’s valleys, decorated with lush vegetation and beautiful rainforest. Hidden in the valleys, explore the rainforest adventure park from the tree tops and embark on a thrilling zip line roller coaster. Afterwards, take the plunge on Splash Mountain water slide – an experience unique to the Fijian rainforest.

For Fiji holidays, we also recommend a visit to Sigatoka, home to the largest river in Fiji. Rather than riding waves, try your luck surfing Sigatoka’s Sand Dunes, nestled on the region’s riverbank. Combining pure adrenaline and archaeological wonder, the dunes reach heights of up to sixty-meters, with shifting sands that have been known to reveal artefacts some three thousand years old. It is truely a unique Fiji travel experience!

Further along the Sigatoka River lies the beautiful wilderness of Fiji. The rich vegetation and rolling green hills are waiting for you to explore by rafting through deep canyons. Alternatively, take to discovering the island’s unique plant species on foot, listening to the delightful hums of the native birds.
