Tour Itinerary:
Fiji's original Off-Road Cave Safari offers a half day Fijian adventure, for those who wish to take the ‘Road Less Travelled’. Transporting you comfortably aboard a custom built, all-terrain vehicle into the Fiji interior. Your journey of discovery takes you back in time to the days of cannibalism and tribal warfare, and you will see first-hand where many of these battles took place. Spend time at Bete's (Priest's) house and meet his family for a sevusevu or traditional Kava ceremony. Your adventure includes crossing the mighty Sigatoka River, Fiji's longest river and also culminates with you entering the Naihehe Cave, a cannibal fortress and seeing for yourself how the 'kaicolo' (mountain people) used ingenious methods to survive. Your driver guide brings the adventure to life and introduces you to the rich culture of the Fijian people and shares their history, customs and legends of the area.
