Tour Itinerary:
Retrace the history of Tapa (a traditional bark cloth) and its myth, making the traveller the heir to an ancient celestial practice. The tour includes a visit to a cultural and historical site. Follow the legendary path of Hina, the Tahitian goddess, we will guide you through each stage of the process from harvesting the root to painting a piece of tapa, from creating natural dyes using local plants to discovering the main motifs that form the foundation of our Polynesian tattoo designs. Everyone will leave with their own personalised creation.
