Rum Distillery on Taha’a

The only thing more exciting than drinking some rum in the South Pacific is drinking rum freshly made from locally produced sugarcane on the island of Taha’a. As always, these things taste better when they have been locally sourced.

If you are looking for an incredibly unique activity that appeals to all ages, you and your family should try your hand at pearl farming. Any pearls that you find can be used to make jewellery—acting as a precious memento for your time spent in this part of the world.

Its small size is the reason many people overlook it, but this restaurant has a world class chef who makes unbelievable French cuisine. If you are on the main island of Tahiti, then you should pay the Roulottes a visit. This is a collection of food trucks that gathers by the ferry terminal each and every night to serve a range of delicious dishes. The food and drinks are all reasonably priced, making this a great place to feed a large family or travel group.
