Welcome to Agnes Gateway Hotel, a travellers paradise, where tourists, diving enthusiasts and fishermen mix with business people, government officials and locals. For fifty years the lodge, in the heart of Munda and on the shores of the Roviana Lagoon, has offered accommodation, meals and refreshments to all who travel through the Western Province.

The lodge was started by Agnes Kera who, for nearly 30 years, had been the cook and custodian of the original British Solomons Government Resthouse, the building which is now known as the Orchid Wing. After Agnes' retirement, her family carried on the Anglo-Solomon hospitality traditions. Not only is the Lodge local in most of its ways, but you will also be staying very close to the adjacent local villages where you can observe traditional Solomon Islands life and become involved in the local culture.

Lagoon View Double Room

These comfortable rooms offer guests a queen bed, ensuit and tea & coffee making facilitie. They are also air-conditioned and boast sweeping lagoon views.

Upper Zazala Room

These simple open plan rooms feature a queen bed, air-conditioning, ensuite and tea & coffee making facilities. They are situate on the upper floor offering lovely views of the lagoon and gardens.

Agnes Heritage Family Room

The spacious Agnes Heritage Family Room features two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds, separated by a loung area. Great for both families or friends travelling together, the room also offers air-conditioning plus tea & coffee making facilities.

Ibibu Cottage

The self-contained Ibibu Cottages are simple, yet comfortable air-conditioned studio rooms which offer guests either a queen bed or twin beds and feature locally inspired decor and ensuite bathrooms.

Lagoon View Room

Boasting sweeping lagoon views, these rooms come with either a double bed or two single beds. They also feature air-conditioning, private ensuite and tea & coffee making facilities.

Execuitve Family Interconnecting Room

Offering picturesque lagoon views, these rooms come with either a double bed or two single beds. They also feature air-conditioning, private ensuite and tea & coffee making facilities.

Child Policy:

● Children 0-4 years Stay and Eat for free when sharing exising bedding with parents

● Children 5-12 years are charged a child rate which includes breakfast

● 13 years and over are considered an adult and charged at the extra person rate
