Tour Itinerary:
This is a guided hike starting at Lelei Village at Tuvaruhu after a short trip by car or bus from your hotel. After crossing the Mtanikau River, the hike will begin uphill to the top of Galloping Horse Hills, which is featured in the movie 'The Thin Red Line' based on the novel of the same title by James Jones. The hike takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to reach the waterfall. You may wish to return via the same hiking route, or float down the lengthof the river back to Lelei Village. Be ready to get wet and have a good pair of hiking shoes!
