Matafunoa Lodge is located only 400m from its sister property Sandy Beach Resort on the quiet northern tip of Foa Island, only a short flight from the mainland. It features absolute beachfront fales built in a traditional Tonga style complete with rustic decor. Step off the covered terrace of your fale onto the sandy beach or take a stroll through the lush tropical gardens to the main house, where you will find the 24 hour reception, restaurant and bar. The resort features shared bathroom facilities.

Family Fale with Shared Bathroom facilities

The traditional Tongan style fales are located right on the beach in amongst the swaying palm trees and tropical gardens of the property. Rustic and basic in look and feel they feature 2 bedrooms, sleep four people maximum and are equipped with electric lights and power points to charge personal electronic devices. Bathrooms are centrally located in the resort and are clean with a solar hot water system.

The traditional Tongan style fales are located right on the beach in amongst the swaying palm trees and tropical gardens of the property. Rustic and basic in look and feel they sleep two person maximum and are equipped with electric lights and power points to charge personal electronic devices.
