Barefoot Manta Island Resort Fiji is an eco-friendly resort located on Drawaqa Island, part of the Yasawa archipelago group of islands. It is operated in partnership with the traditional landowners from nearby Mua-ira Village on the island of Naviti. The resort is located inside a protected marine sanctuary and is only a 1-minute boat ride from a Manta Ray feeding site. From April - October Fiji Manta Rays feed in a narrow nutrient-rich channel of water between Drawaqua Island (Barefoot Manta Island Resort Fiji's location) and Naviti Island. With nature there are no guarantees but the Manta Rays are usually there every day during the season.

ACCOMMODATION

The accommodation is all bure style located on a beachfront location.

Beachfront Yanuyanu (Island) Bure: The new Beachfront Yanuyanu (Island) Bures are the latest addition to Barefoot Manta Island Resort, located on the Sunrise & Sunset beaches. Perfect for couples with Queen size bed configuration, an additional single bed or bunk can be bought into the room to accommodate a family of 2A and 2C. From the Queen size bed you can take in the views of the brilliant blue waters surrounding the resort. Bures are fan cooled and feature a shower under the stars en suite bathroom. 

Beachfront Adi (Queen) Bure: These bures are perfect for couples looking to escape for the weekend or week. Each bure leads onto a stunning beachfront location with their own private garden setting, featuring a hammock plus private beach access. Bures are fan cooled with private decking, an outdoor setting and a shower under the stars en suite bathroom.

Beachfront Levu (Large) Bure: The Beachfront Levu (Large) Bures are the largest bures, making them ideal for couples, friends or a family of 2 adults and 3 children. The Bures lead onto an idyllic white sand beach location lapped by crystal clear waters and feature a private deck area, are fan-cooled with en suite bathroom.

Beachfront Cakau (Reef) Bure: Located just a metres from Sunrise Beach, you can enjoy the view of the brilliant blue sea from your bed. These rooms are ideal for couples or 2 friends with both a Queen bed or Single Twin bed configuration available. Please note these bures use nearby shared bathroom facilities including hot showers.
