Taumeasina Island Resort

Taumeasina Island Resort is a private island set on 14 acres and encompasses lush tropical gardens, two white sand beaches and offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and natural lagoon. The backdrop to the island is the mainland of Upolu, which provides some of Samoa’s most picturesque lush tropical scenery. The 105 guest rooms include spacious and contemporary Ocean View hotel rooms and two or three bedroom Waterfront villas suitable for single stays, couples, groups of friends and families. The resort offers first-class dining and bar options as well as a host of sports and water activities.

Oceanview Hotel Rooms: Designed with an open, and welcoming style, this room type offers views of the Pacific Ocean and features an outdoor lounge setting. Located near the entrance to the Island and the main thoroughfare from the mainland, these rooms are ideal for the single traveller or couples. Bedding is 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds. The Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children.

Deluxe Oceanview Hotel Rooms: Rooms offer superior views of the Pacific Ocean. They are decorated with a Samoan flare and designed with an open, airy and inviting style for those looking for something a little extra. Bedding is 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds. The Maximum room capacity is 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children.

Two-Bedroom Waterfront Villa: The Villas are beautifully appointed and offer direct access to one of the private sandy beaches. These villas are fully self-contained with a kitchen including full-size fridge, breakfast bench, dishwasher, 4 burner hotplate, microwave/convection oven, washing machine and dryer. The private balcony overlooks the lagoon and mountainside of Upolu Island. The bedding is 2 King Beds and 1 Rollaway Bed on request. The Maximum room capacity is 5 Adults or 2 Adults and 3 Children.

Three Bedroom Waterfront Villa: The spacious Three Bedroom Waterfront Villas offer unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean and direct access to one of the private white sandy beaches. With uncompromising amenities; two bathrooms including the main bedroom en-suite, comfortable lounge setting, 50” flat screen television, fully self-contained kitchen with full size fridge, breakfast bench, dishwasher, 4 burner hotplate and microwave/convection oven and washing machine and dryer. Bedding is 3 King Beds and 1 Rollaway on request. The Maximum room capacity is 7 Adults or 2 adults and 5 children.

Three Bedroom Cove Villa: Located on the main land facing the Taumeasina Island Resort the newly built 3 bedroom Cove Villa is your luxury comfort resort getaway. These Villas have breathtaking views of the ocean and the resort, it is equipped to cater for larger families or a group of friends. 

Dining

Sina’s Restaurant: Sina’s Restaurant welcomes you for dinner amidst one of the most superb locations in Samoa. The venue has an atmosphere of peaceful elegance inspired by the exquisite cuisine and the remarkable views of Samoa’s turquoise waters. Dine along the poolside terrace under the stars or in the refreshing air-conditioned indoor space. The seasonal menus feature traditional Samoan and internationally inspired cuisines. Open 6:00pm - Late.

Lapita Restaurant: The main restaurant offers a more casual dining experience. Serving both continental and cooked breakfast, café style lunches and dinner with live entertainment each night with the occasional themed buffet. Taumeasina's famous Fia Fia night is held weekly at Lapita's and is one not to be missed. Reservations are essential. Open 6:30am - Late.

Manu Bar: Wind down at the stylish Manu Bar located in the resort lobby area, with elegant and comfortable cocktail lounge seating. Serving coffee, tea, beer, wine and cocktails. This bar also serves the pool and terrace area of the resort with light snacks available all day. Open 10:00am - Late.

Cascade Poolside Dining: Open for lunch, choose from our poolside snacks and locally inspired tapas menu while enjoying the easy going atmosphere that is Cascades. Located next to the resort pool with a lovely ocean breeze flowing through day after day. Open 06:30am - Late.

Private Balcony and Beachside Dining: Choose from our 3-course menu specially designed for your private dining experience. Dine in the comfort of your own room or by the shoreline as the waves kiss the sand. Your personal waiter will see to your every desire while you relax and indulge. On Request.
