Taveuni Island Resort & Spa

Taveuni Island Resort & Spa is located at the north end of Taveuni Island. With beautiful stretches of sand and crystal clear waters, the beaches have spectacular views out to the Somosomo Straits.

The intimate resort only has 11 villas with the focus being on luxury and romance. At any given time Taveuni Island Resort & Spa has only up to 28 guests and all guests must be over 15 years of age. This makes the resort a popular option with couples and honeymooners. 

The resort offers relaxation, exceptional diving, stunning nature, rainforest or waterfall walks as well as an indulgent day spa. 

ACCOMMODATION

The luxury private villas (bures) are over 100m2 (over 1000ft2) in size and are built with native Taveuni timbers. There are floor to ceiling windows on all sides. The bures are open plan and the lounge opens into a spacious outdoor living area, which overlooks the ocean and surrounding islands.  Each bure has a small kitchenette for snacks and drinks in room and all meals are included at our resort to help you fully relax and enjoy your stay.

Luxury Ocean View Villa:  These bures have beautiful views over the ocean and surrounding tropical gardens. The lounge is separate and the ensuite bedroom is on a split level.

Luxury Ocean Front Villa: The bures are spacious and beautifully appointed. They have a lounge area with a day- bed, coffee and tea facilities and comfortable furniture, the bedrooms have king beds, indoor as well as a private outdoor courtyard shower’s and a huge covered deck’s in front of both the lounge and bedroom..

The Grande Matalau Villa: Two ensuite bedrooms with king beds. A king single can be fitted into both bedrooms. Maximum no of persons 6.  Ideal for couples, families and two couples travelling together. The Luxury Oceanfront Matalau Villa is situated on one side of the property with a panoramic view of the ocean. It has a huge lounge flowing onto a spacious covered deck (lanai) with a gorgeous plunge pool overlooking the ocean. Two private en-suite bedrooms with king beds, large outdoor courtyard showers and indoor showers with unlimited hot water, beautiful imported fine white linen, air-conditioning, fans or natural airflow. Comfortable luxurious indoor and outdoor furniture.

Taveuni Island Resort Restaurant And Bar: Taveuni Island Resort is proud to have its own organic farm and garden for our farm to table creations featuring freshly picked herbs,  organic vegetables and tropical fruits as well as free range meats.  Our talented chefs take the islands daily bounty and the freshest of local ingredients to create a delight of culinary experiences.   In true Fijian style the food is artfully presented and a feast for the senses.  A food lover’s delight.

Dine in our beautiful open air restaurant with expansive views or you have the option to reserve the private dining bure nestled on the hillside looking out over the ocean.

Spa: Complete your day in paradise at our resort spa. Let one of our trained staff use specialty made Fijian body products to soothe and polish you into complete relaxation. Receive your massage in our beautiful spa or outside on the private massage deck to the sound of the waves. Deepen your relaxation on our sunset/yoga deck with magnificent views.
