Tropica Island Resort is a 4 star, adults only boutique resort. Specialising in Celebration and Rejuvenation, Tropica is ideally suited to honeymooners, couples & wedding parties. 

Blending Fijian and contemporary architecture with beautifully landscaped open spaces and water features, it is nestled in a sheltered bay with an abundance of marine life. It includes 16 spacious air-conditioned beachfront bures all with outdoor river-rock showers & 14 air-conditioned resort rooms, a stunning 25 metre infinity pool, romantic sunset beach bar, restaurant and spa, water sports, cultural activities and nightly entertainment.

Sanctuary Pool Suite: Modern contemporary rooms with open plan bedroom/living area with views of tropical gardens. Size is 60m². Bedding is 1 King Bed OR 2 King Single Bedss. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults.

Beachfront Bure: Absolute beachfront location within metres from the water. Traditional open plan style with high ceilings. Features private balcony with romantic swing seat overlooking the ocean. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.

Beachfront Pool Bure: Absolute beachfront location within metres from the water. Features own private plunge pool with infinity edge. Traditional open plan style with high ceilings. Also features private balcony with romantic swing seat overlooking the ocean. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 3 Adults.

Honeymoon Pool Bure: Only 1 Honeymoon Pool Bure is available on the Island. Bifold doors open to an expansive deck and stunning 3.5m x 2.5m infinity edge pool. Bedding is 1 King Bed. Maximum room capacity is 2 Adults, a 3rd person can be added on request only.

Dining

Main Restaurant: Open air dining experience. Located poolside with a combination of picturesque ocean views and warm sea breezes make for a captivating dining experience. Inspired by Fijian delicacies and home cooked favourites we invite you to enjoy! Lunch and dinner menus change daily. Breakfast includes a full American feast!

Sunset Bar: The “Dromu ni Siga Bar” or the Sunset Bar is situated on the water’s edge and offers guests a more casual dining experience where you can relax and chill in comfort. With an all-day Tapas menu, you can enjoy our Fijian Tapas and Antipasto plates, teamed with an extensive selection of wines that beautifully complement your meals.

A perfect location to watch spectacular sunsets over the Mamanuca islands whilst sipping on a chilled beer or cocktail of the day. The sunset bar is open from 12 noon daily and happy hour is from 6pm to 7pm.

Private Dining: A private dinner on the jetty or on the beach under the magnificent Fijian night sky is also available at additional cost. A popular choice for a wedding proposal, birthday or anniversary, the private dining experience consists of a four course meal, a bottle of sparkling wine, your own personal waiter to tend to your every need and a serenader to set the tone for your romantic evening.

Private Picnics: Tropica’s signature activity is a visit to Monuriki Island complete with a delicious freshly prepared picnic for two. Spend an unforgettable morning discovering the uninhabited island of Monuriki where the award winning movie “Cast Away” with Tom Hanks was filmed. Another option would be the “Sandbank Picnic”. As the tide recedes, small sandbanks rise up out of the ocean and exist as tiny private islands for four or five hours. The staff prepare an area just for the guests with chairs and tables, sunlounges and umbrellas. Both options are available at the resort at additional cost.
