Yasawa Island Resort and Spa

There are 15 words in the Fijian language for Heaven and ‘Yasawa’ is the first. At Yasawa Island Resort & Spa there are no other resorts, no televisions, and no traffic; just the sounds of the palm trees swaying and the ocean lapping mere steps from your private villa.

The 18 air-conditioned beachfront bures have a discreet outdoor shower; an expansive deck with daybeds to while away the afternoons; a hammock strung between the palms; and your own thatched cabana with sun loungers on the edge of Yasawa’s famous white, sandy beach.

This inclusive resort offers a la carte dining, non-alcoholic beverages and all motorised and non-motorised activities (excl. diving, spa & fishing).

ACCOMMODATION

Our 18 traditionally thatched, beachfront bures are understated in their luxury. Nestled among the palms, each air-conditioned bure has a discreet outdoor shower; an expansive deck with daybeds to wile away the afternoons; a separate living area with mini bar and iPod docking station; a hammock strung between the palms; incredible views of the ocean, and your own thatched cabana with sun loungers on the edge of Yasawa's famous white sand beach.
 All Rooms Feature:
•    Hair Dryer
•    Pure Fiji Amenities
•    Tea & Coffee making facilities

Bure Suite Beachfront: At Yasawa there’s no such thing as a standard room. Our Bure Suites set a luxurious benchmark with their modern styling, open plan and ocean views. Scattered in pairs among the palms, they share just one adjoining wall and are positioned for privacy – the only thing you’ll see and hear from inside is the ocean. 115 square meters including decks with a large bedroom, dressing room, large lounge room and outdoor shower.

Deluxe Bure Beachfront: On an island as remote as this you can have all the space you want. Yasawa’s 10 Deluxe Bures are vast and free standing; offering ocean panoramas from inside and out. A split-level design creates separate living and sleeping areas inside, while broad decks, shaded day beds and private outdoor showers extend the living space outside. 125 square meters including decks with a large bedroom, dressing room, large lounge room and outdoor shower.

2 Bedroom Bure Beachfront: Perched on a rise overlooking the rest of the resort is the expansive Two Bedroom Bure. With two separate bedrooms either side of a large central living area, the two-bedroom bure is ideal for two couples travelling together or a family with older children (during family season only). Its elevated outdoor deck provides magnificent views over the island and out to sea. 230 square meters including decks with a large bedroom, dressing room, large lounge room and outdoor shower.

Honeymoon Bure Beachfront with Pool: The name says it all – Lomalagi (Lo-ma-lang-ee), another Fijian word for Heaven. Hidden from the rest of the resort at the end of a deserted white beach, Lomalagi is a private retreat with its own horizon pool overlooking the ocean. This is Yasawa at its best – absolute luxury and complete seclusion. 209 square meters including decks with a large bedroom, dressing room, large lounge room and outdoor shower.

DINING

Yasawa Restaurant: Your dining experiences at Yasawa will be extraordinary. Enjoy your meals in our al fresco restaurant with incredible views overlooking the pool, beach and ocean. For additional time alone with the one you love, the possibilities are numerous... private dinners on the beach, room service, secluded beach picnics, or dinners poolside. All non-alcoholic beverages are included in the tariff at Yasawa... from espresso coffees to fresh pressed tropical juices, mocktails, sodas and bottled water. And for something a little stronger, Yasawa’s head barman, Manasa, is a deft hand with the cocktail shaker and maintains an impeccably stocked bar.
