An overwater bungalow with an unsurpassed view over the lagoon and in the midst of a 200 hectare natural reserve: the ultimate backdrop for an unforgettable stay. The luxurious overwater bungalows feature a large separate lounge, bedroom in exotic wood, spacious bathroom in Italian marble with shower and bathtub and private terrace facing the sunset equipped with steps leading directly to the water.
Overwater Bungalow Ocean View at InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa
An iconic Polynesian bunglow perched over the lagoon. These recently renovated bungalows are located next to the infinity pool and the lead in overwater bungalow category. Each bungalow features a seperate lounge and bedroom plus a spacious deck for admiring the lagoon and ocean beyond.

Cancellation Policy:
● More than 72 hours prior to arrival: No cancellation fee
● Less than 72 hours prior to arrival, no shows and early departures: 100% cancellation fees
Conditions:
● Children are only allowed in this room if a waiver is signed by the parents regarding responsibility and safety, as the bungalows do not have proper fencing for children.
Cancellation Policy for InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa
January 7, 2026 - January 7, 2036
Cancellation and Amendment Policy:
● More than 15 days prior to arrival: No cancellation fee
● Between 15 and 1 day prior to arrival: 1 night cancellation fee
● Day of arrival, no shows and early departures:100% cancellation fees
Conditions:
● Minimum 3 consecutive night stay required
● New Year Eve's Dinner is compulsory with any room booked for the 31st December
● Children 12-14 years are required to pay the compulsory city tax
