Duck Island: A small islet near Noumea, you can snorkel the marked underwater trails near the beach. Keep your eye out for turtles, listen to the parrot fish eating coral and admire the array of tropical fish.
Jokin Cliffs: On the island of Lifou take in the breathtaking views from the top of these 40 metre high cliffs, before descending the stairs to the pristine waters of New Caledonia. Don a mask and snorkel to explore the underwater world and the kaleidoscope of colourful fish.
The Pleiades: Renowned for the manta rays that come in to be cleaned by the smaller fish, this colourful reef is located on the island of Ouvéa and is a site not to be missed.
The 'Swimming Pool' Lagoon: Located on the Isle of Pines, this lagoon is teeming with fish in crystal blue calm waters to relax and enjoy
Mare: Around the rugged coastline of Mare is dotted coral reefs with exotic species of ocean life of every colour
