Located on the island of Huahine, the Maitai Lapita Village is built around a picturesque natural lake filled with water lilies, not far from the airport and the main village of Fare. The restaurant, bar and pool are located along a white sand beach and the lagoon, where you can admire the other Leeward Islands: Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora. The architecture and decor of the hotel are inspired by the art and culture of the ancient Polynesians. The bungalows are modelled after “fare va’a” (ancient houses of Polynesian canoes).

Garden Bungalow: nestled among tropical flowers and fragrant plants. This luxurious accommodation is ideal if you are coming to Huahine on a limited budget as you can enjoy quality facilities, a stay in complete privacy, and spacious rooms without compromise. Equipped with a large, comfortable bed that can be separated into two single beds if you prefer. The bed will be beautifully decorated with fresh flowers upon your arrival, and a maid service is provided daily.

Premium Garden Bungalow: spacious and well-equipped these bungalows are constructed in line with the ancient houses of Polynesian canoes. The interior is inspired by the arts of Lapita pottery and archaeological objects found on the site. Located in the garden, enjoy your terrace to admire the environment and the intoxicating scent of exotic flowers. You will find a large king-sized bed decorated in Polynesian style upon your arrival.

Premium Lake Bungalow: The tradition Tahitian Premium Lake Bungalows sit on the shore of the beautiful and serene lake. They come with a large king sized bed, separate bathroom, air conditioning, and a large, comfortable living space. Maitai Lapita Village has 15 Premium Lake Bungalows all with a large bed decorated with beautiful local flowers. From the large terrace of your bungalow, you'll overlook this beautiful lake and admire the majestic mountains that dominate Huahine.

Oaoa Bar: Maitai Lapita Village's Oaoa Bar welcomes you to a warm and genuine setting, inspired by ancient Polynesian architecture.
