This tour departs Monday to Friday at 9am or 1pm.

Tour Itinerary:
Departing from your hotel in town by minibus, you’ll head to Erakor, followed by a five minute walk through the tropical forest to Ekasup Cultural Village. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted with a traditional chiefly welcome from the village Chief in native costume. This immersive experience offering the opportunity to learn about the customs and everyday life of Vanuatu’s ancestors, including demonstrations of traditional medicine using native herbs, food preservation and roasting techniques, hunting traps, weaving of mats, hats and baskets, as well as the preparation of local dishes such as laplap or bunia. Throughout the tour, you’ll gain valuable insight into the Melanesian cultural and traditional practices that have been passed down through generations in Vanuatu.
