Sandy Beach Resort

Sandy Beach Resort is a boutique property located in the Ha’apai group of islands about a 45 minute domestic flight from the capital; Nuku’alofa and a 15 minute drive from Ha’apai Airport. Its location offers excellent swimming at all tides and great coral reefs right in front of your doorstep. Next door you will find its sister property, Matafunoa Lodge. 

Accommodation

The resort is nestled among a palm plantation and offers 12 fales within beautiful tropical gardens situated directly on the best beach in Tonga.

Beachfront Fale: The fales at Sandy Beach Resort are located right on the beach amongst tropical gardens. Each fale is comfortable, spacious and features a private terrace with gorgeous ocean views. Inside there is an ensuite bathroom with solar powered hot water showers and bedding  to sleep 2 guests.

Family Beachfront Fale: The family fale is a beachfront fale with 2 extra fold out beds to allow for 4 guests to stay.


Dining

Meals are served at the property’s dining terrace from early to late. The in-house restaurant serves up delicious seafood dishes while the bar serves beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks.
