With stunning sunset views from the beachfront Restaurant and Bar, Tamanu Beach Resort is located on the western coast of Aitutaki. Tamanu Beach resort offers four bungalow accommodation options, including self contained studio rooms and one bedroom lagoon view rooms. Our Cook Islands bungalows are nestled amongst lush tropical gardens. Our beachfront rooms are on the water's edge- a stone’s throw from our gorgeous blue lagoon. Our stunning Aitutaki beachfront resort features 22 bungalows, conference facilities, two fresh water swimming pools, a beachfront bar and restaurant and a gift shop. Our private, white sand beach borders Aitutaki Island's crystal clear lagoon providing endless opportunities for island activities such as swimming, snorkelling and kayaking in the azure waters.

Garden Bungalow

The Garden View Bungalows at Tamanu Beach Resort are all within a stones throw of the beach. Renovations were completed in May 2017 featuring some recent finishing touches of original Tim Buchanan Artwork. The Bungalows boast a brand new layout, Kwila hardwood floors, Tamanu (local Mahogany) Vanity benches, new bathrooms with an additional spacious outside shower. Each Bungalow with their lagoon-views from your balcony and daybed provide a perfect setting to relax. The free standing bungalows have been arranged to resemble a small Aitutaki village. Your bungalow has a bar fridge, tea & coffee facilities, LED TV, air conditioning, ceiling fans, hairdryer, safe and IDD telephone and room service is available on request. Its just a short walk along the beach to our beachside restaurant. The Garden bungalows are spacious and well appointed with Polynesian style decor, available in two configurations with a super king bed or two single king beds for twin share accommodation.

Lagoonview Bungalow

The Lagoon View Bungalows at Tamanu Beach Resort are all within a stones throw of the beach. The Bungalows feature some recent finishing touches of original Tim Buchanan Artwork. One Bedroom Bungalow

The One Bedroom Bungalows at Tamanu Beach Resort are well apoointed with tradtional Pacific Island decor. All bungalows are well placed to provide for maximum privacy and comfort during your stay and you can enjoy the tropical surroundings and Lagoonviews from your furnished verandah.

The 3 One Bedroom Beachfront Bungalows here at Tamanu Beach Resort are well appointed with traditional Cook Island décor. All Tamanu's bungalows are well placed to provide for maximum privacy and comfort during your stay and you can enjoy incredible views and breathtaking Aitutaki sunsets from your furnished verandah.

Tamanu Are (Tamanu Beachfront Villa)

This is the only two storey beachfront villa style bungalow on the property, great for a special occasion.

Beachfront Bungalow

The Beachfront Bungalow here at Tamanu Beach Resort is fully self-contained featuring modern kitchen facilities, and is spacious and well appointed with Polynesian style decor. All Tamanu's bungalows are well placed to provide for maximum privacy and comfort.
