Flights to Norfolk Island from Brisbane

There are three direct flights to Norfolk Island from Brisbane each week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Across the week all flights have a scheduled departure at around 11.30am allowing for a leisurely morning arrival at the airport. As Brisbane is a major hub and a popular departure point, it is good planning to ensure you arrive with plenty of time to spare (and remembering you need to clear the customs line as departures are from the International Terminal!). The flight time from Brisbane to Norfolk Island is roughly 2 hours and 15 minutes. At the time of writing there are no direct flights between Melbourne and Norfolk Island, with travellers from Victoria having to fly via Brisbane or Sydney. Including the layover in either state, visitors from Melbourne will spend roughly 5 to 7 hours travelling each way. To reach Norfolk Island from the West Coast you need to stop over on the East Coast first.
