Mele Cascades is one of Vanuatu’s most popular waterfalls. A 20 minute drive from town & a short hike will have you standing in front of the thundering falls taking that perfect Insta worthy shot before diving in the sparkling, refreshing water.

Vanuatu’s culture is known as ‘kastom’ & can be experienced through daily interactions with the locals who are well known as some of the friendliest people in the world. Traditional customs remain strong in Vanuatu & their love of sharing century old customs, stories, crafts & music provides visitors with a glimpse into a different life; a must do when in Vanuatu.

Wandering the local markets filled with produce & handicrafts is one of the best way to immerse yourself in this beautiful country. A hive of activity, laughter & smiling faces providing seasonal produce & taste sensations where everything is organic! You will discover a new appreciation for the fertile, volcanic soil & tropical climate that offers local farmers a sustainable food industry in Vanuatu.

For those who like some adventure in their days, Efate is a great spot to get the adrenalin pumping. Whether it be hooning through the jungle in an open buggy, exploring the panoramic views from the Skybridge or discovering new friends below the surface at one of many dive sites just minutes from the mainland we can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Espiritu Santo

The largest island in Vanuatu offers a collection of experiences & natural beauty for travellers of all types. A special place to cool off in a pristine wonderland or wake up to the whitest, footprint free sandy beaches. Santo is also home to fascinating WWII history & the local guides can provide an insight to the island’s fascinating colourful past.

Part of this history includes the Americans dumping millions of dollars worth of military equipment in the ocean just off Santo. Now known as Million Dollar Point it provides an action packed playground for divers & snorkelers alike.

Santo is home to the largest number of blue holes in Vanuatu & these spectacular treasures are a true natural wonder. Created by mountain water filtered through kilometres of underground limestone caves that resurfaces near the coast forming incredible pure swimming holes.  The crystal clear waters are warm enough to swim all year round & the colours are so vibrant that you must see them for yourself to believe it.

Kayaking is a great way to explore the kilometres of hidden inland rivers connecting to the blue holes in Santo. Enjoy a serene trip exploring remote & peaceful Santo with lush tropical surrounds & winding rivers for days.

Tanna

Tanna is a small diverse island taking only an hour to drive from one side to the other. The west coast is filled with stunning coral reefs & the famous Blue Cave.  A natural cavern that has created a grotto 60 metres in diameter. A short underwater swim allows access to this stunning cave which is lit by light filtering down through a 5 metre hole in the roof. This breathtaking sight cannot be missed on a visit to Tanna.

The red glow from Mt Yasur enticed Captain Cook to Tanna back in 1774 & continues to attract visitors from all around the world today. It remains one of the most accessible active volcanoes in the world & can be explored by day or night. Visitors can walk the crater rim & peer into the bubbling lava cauldron & even ash board down the slopes. A visit after sunset is spectacular with the red glow & fireworks lighting up the sky. Feel the earth shake at Mt Yasur, an unforgettable sight & experience of a lifetime!

Another spectacular natural treasure in Tanna is the Giant Banyan Tree of Leitouapam. An amazing 80 metres high & over 100 metres wide, no one knows the actual age of this tree however it was believed to already be ancient when Captain Cook landed 248 years ago.
