If you're thinking, for an island that's only 5kmx8km do I really need car hire? Then the answer is a resounding YES! All our Norfolk Island packages include car hire because for such a little island there's over 100km of roads, undulating hills and so much to see that if you tried to walk it all you'd be walking long past your return flight home. While tours are a fantastic option to get the local insight there's something special about taking off on your own to explore.

4 Tours
A Norfolk Island holiday package that includes tours is a bit of a bargain. From 1 June 2023 all our packages will include these four tours.
Island Life Coach Tour:
A delightful full day tour of Norfolk Island. You'll learn about the intricate nature of modern island life, the eight original family groups, and how their cultural traits are fostered, valued and maintained in today's daily life. Morning tea and a two course island-style lunch completes the day.
History in the Making Coach Tour:
On a half day tour be guided through the four historic settlements on Norfolk Island. Visit the World Heritage inscribed, Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historic Area, and an island home for a demonstration of hands on crafts, such as shingle and rope making.
Wars of Change Coach Tour:
Come along on a half day tour that explains how the idyllic characteristics of Norfolk Island have been challenged and changed by the events of World War II. Tour some sites of the war machinery: artillery emplacements, radar stations, tented accommodation for troops and water supply facilities.
The Natural Wonders of Norfolk Island Coach Tour:
Spend the morning exploring Norfolk Island's geological marvels in all their natural beauty. See sheer rugged cliffs, outcrops of basalt and volcanic residue. Be expertly guided through the beauty and characteristics of the island's delightful native, endemic and introduced species of trees and shrubs, plants and palms, ferns, flowers and fruits, including the iconic Norfolk Island Pine.
