Zipolo Habu dining is based on the freshest ingredients the region has to offer. They love to provide international food, infused with local flavours through local cooking techniques. Obviously, seafood is their absolute specialty – whether it be barbecued crayfish, cuttlefish soup, chilli mud crab or sashimi tuna. Often, the local fishermen catch it and it’s on the table within hours. They also love to prepare your own catch of the day to your liking as we all know that what we catch ourselves always tastes the best.
Alternatively, there are basic kitchenette facilities in the rooms so you can prepare your own simple meals if you prefer. As local markets can be unpredictable, we advise you to bring vegetables from either the Honiara or Gizo markets and catch or purchase from the plentiful supply of seafood readily available at Lola Island.
