Dining

Zipolo Habu dining is based on the freshest ingredients the region has to offer. We love to provide international food, infused with local flavours through local cooking techniques. Obviously, seafood is our absolute specialty – whether it be barbecued crayfish, cuttlefish soup, chilli mud crab or sashimi tuna. Often, our local fishermen catch it and it’s on the table within hours. We also love to prepare your own catch of the day to your liking as we all know that what we catch ourselves always tastes the best.

Alternatively, as we provide basic kitchenette facilities in rooms,  you can prepare your own simple meals if you prefer.  As local markets can be unpredictable, we advise you to bring vegetables from either the Honiara or Gizo markets and catch or purchase from our plentiful supply of seafood readily available at Lola Island.

Waterfront Cafe: At the end of the day, our waterfront cafe is a great place to kick back and soak up the atmosphere. Catch your favourite sporting match on the satellite television, enjoy a cold drink and a snack or just watch the sun set over the lagoon.
